You know, it’s kind of funny.

Back in a day, Social Media and Web 2.0 was the technology of the time that helped me stamp my mark in the internet marketing world as a Guru
and trainer to the industry…

And it definitely made me a LOT of money.

Now fast-forward to late March 2010.

I no longer do any kind of social media whatsoever.

Stopped hanging-out on YouTube altogether,
Twitter, Facebook And I haven’t done live webinars in over 6-months.

Yet, the weird thing is…

Even though I quit social media,

I’m now making more money today than I was even back then.

(Go figure right?)

I mean… it’s totally backwards than what most people would think.

And to top it off, my quality of life has even dramatically improved as well.

(This is something I struggled with for years and years and year because I just didn’t have the time because I was so darn focused and committed
to my business… some would even call me obsessed!

I spend more time with my family, my friends, my nephews, and my nieces.I can’t really explain it.

All I know is that… the moment I quit spending so much dang time on Social Media and began to just focus on the things that really matter most to my business…

That’s when the profits just began to pour-in totally unexpected.

So am I saying everyone should quit ‘Social Media’.

NO.

That’s not my point.

For the beginners, Social Media is a great place to get yourself grounded, get your feet wet, a nice little way to start getting a taste of traffic here, a few leads there.

But just know… it’s a very ‘time-consuming’ process and if you don’t learn to control your time…
Social Media will eat your time away!

For someone like me who’s a little more advanced and ahead in the game…

My ‘ROT’ (Return On Time) is much better spent avoiding Social Media altogether and putting my time and energy into other things that are more
productive for my businesses.

Like for instance…

a) In the last 60-days, I teamed-up with a Tommy… and we built a brand-new lead generating funnel all the way from scratch.Tested it,made money with that list in 3 days.

And none of this would have ever happened if we had focused our time and energy on focusing on Social Media.

The way that we did it was we focused on creating a ‘High-Converting’ Sales Funnel that transforms leads from ’suspects’ to eager beavers desperately throwing money at us begging us to help them solve their problems.

I know… it sounds too good to be true.
But sometimes the ‘Truth’ is stranger than ‘Fiction’.

And in this case, it wasn’t just like we woke up yesterday and BAM… we had a funnel built and were on top of my running buddy’s leader boards in his company.

Nope.
Wasn’t like that at all.

There were a TON of late-nights.
More early mornings than I care to even count.

Banging our heads against the walls.

Testing.
Tracking.
Tweaking.
Repeat the process.

Why aren’t people responding to our offers?
Let’s try this.
Eureka… we hit something!

Try it again.

Make more adjustments.

Do it again.

Boo-Yaa… this is it.

Keep on running the traffic.

YES!… still converting.

And only then, did we hit the top of the ‘Leader Boards.’

That’s what it took.

An up-and-down roller coaster ride of emotions,
frustrations, surprises, failures, and then finally…

SUCCESS!

That’s what it really looked like.

So you see guys…

The moment I quit Social Media,the more productive I became.
The more productive I became,the more money I made.

So that’s it guys.

So I just thought I’d send you a quick post to share my recent discoveries in hopes that for some of you…

Maybe this is what you needed in order to ‘Wake-Up’ and finally start taking your business more seriously.

Stop messing around on Social Media.Don’t let your time get *CONSUMED* by the technology.

It’s not worth it.Remember, the internet is *ALWAYS* changing.

Back in the day…I made a TON of money with Social Media.

Today, I don’t know why I still have any Social Media accounts open .

You gotta constantly change your approach to keep up.
